When I first brought my foldable trampoline at the gym where I used to work as a personal trainer, people were looking at me probably thinking “what the hell 😊”.
At that time, mini trampoline was not as popular as now and people were wondering why I would use such a piece of equipment with my clients.
On a fitness trampoline, our body constantly moves in all directions and rebounding builds up our core muscles, which helps our coordination and stability.
I use my trampoline with clients of all age groups and abilities. I like the fact that there is less impact on joints with a trampoline workout than running for example.
Professional athletes use it too
Nowadays professional athletes such as boxers, football players or skiers use the trampoline to improve their functional mobility, gait performance, strength, and bone mineral density. Manchester United football club is well-known for using it during pre-season so their players can specifically strengthen all major muscles’ groups.

Time efficient
A NASA study found that 10 minutes of jumping on a trampoline is the equivalent of a 30-minute run. The fact is exercising on a trampoline takes less time than running, if you are a busy person who struggles to find time to exercise.
You can find good workout videos on various platforms to inspire you or use the help and knowledge of an online personal trainer like me. Training from home will save you travel time and by setting up a weekly routine, you will give yourself a better chance to stick to a plan.
Cost saving
I like to remind new clients who are worried about buying too much equipment that when it comes to train hard and effectively, they don’t need a lot, another reason why I like my trampoline.
A foldable trampoline is very convenient since you can store it anywhere as it does not take too much space. The price for a fitness trampoline starts at around 70 euros and by saving on a gym membership (and travel), you quickly get your investment back.
Fun
Trampoline workouts are extremely versatile. You can create fun workouts with leg exercises, body weight exercises, core exercises. For my clients, I design trampoline bootcamps and circuits, so we focus on strength and conditioning bringing dumbbells or kettlebells into the equation when they have them.
Conclusion
If you want to try a different type of training and you like the idea of the trampoline, then don’t hesitate to get in touch so I can tell you more about it.
